Alert Polk
Stay informed and stay safe with Alert Polk, Polk County’s emergency notification system.
Polk County officials use a statewide public safety communications network to deliver timely alerts and important information to residents, property owners, visitors, and businesses. During emergencies or situations that may impact the health, safety, or welfare of the community, designated officials send notifications directly to registered phone numbers and email addresses within affected areas.
Alerts may include:
- Severe weather warnings and updates
- Emergency management notifications
- Public safety threats
- Crime and safety information
- Evacuation notices
- Community informational alerts
When an alert is issued, registered users receive important details and instructions related to the event.

By signing up for Alert Polk, you’ll receive critical updates that can help you prepare, respond, and stay informed when it matters most.
Polk County Property Alert System
Protect your property with the Polk County Property Alert System, a free service designed to help property owners monitor potential unauthorized activity affecting their real estate records.
By registering for this service, you will receive notifications when documents are recorded that may be associated with your property. Early awareness can help you identify possible fraudulent activity and take appropriate action.
Important Information
The Property Alert System is an important tool for monitoring property records; however, it does not prevent fraud or unauthorized transactions from occurring.
If you receive an alert regarding a transaction or document that you do not recognize and believe may be fraudulent, you should immediately contact local law enforcement and any other appropriate authorities to report the activity.
